Donut Drivers

I was driving home today from work and I thought it was going to be just like any other drive home...long and boring. Well, I don't usually pay much attention to what is going on around me, except for the idiots who think they need to stay in one lane as long as possible and squeeze in front of me at the last second. Today started out just like that...there was a car that got in front of me, no bid deal, until I noticed they were driving on a donut. Normally this wouldn't make me laugh, but for some reason today it did. It also made me think about the time that I had to drive back from Lake Texoma on a donut. That wasn't fun.

I got a flat on Saturday morning. That meant there was no driving for me that weekend. Well, when we woke up on Sunday morning and were about to come home, we also noticed that another girl that was with me also had a flat. We were able to put some fix-a-flat in her tire and she was able to drive home. I wasn't so lucky. We had to put my donut on my car and I had to drive no more than 45 mph the whole way home. Let's just say that was not a pleasant experience.

So, for all of you who have ever driven long distances on a donut and actually followed the rules and drove no more than 45, I feel your pain.
